In New Vegas, I unlocked the achievement for discovering 125 locations, but not the one for discovering 50. It seems to have unlocked on a later playthrough. I also reached level 50 without getting the achievements for reaching level 20 or 30. That is fairly messed up. Not sure if I should delete the post or not.
This is one of the responses for a new dota hero :D http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/dota2.gamepedia.com/c/cb/Tech_rare_05.mp3

Well let's see here. Broken Age [Installed] {Played through all that's available} Torchlight II [Installed] {Played briefly with friends} The Wolf Among Us [Installed] Shadowrun Returns [Installed] XCOM: Enemy Within [Installed] {None in the DLC, but 60+ hours in XCOM} Battleblock Theatre [Installed] That's a better track record than I usually have. Honestly, the reason I didn't install any of the Strategy games (Planetary Annihilation, Endless Space, Sins of a Solar Empire) is because if I did I'd be pouring millions of hours into them and not even trying any of the others. I'm actually currently on a "Get my worth out of my library" kick, since I've got so many games I haven't played. Most recently this has included Bastion, Atom Zombie Smasher, Broken Age, and Limbo. Ah, To The Moon. The game that ripped my heart out and stomped on it. It's really interesting to me how such a small and simple game can have a massive impact, when some AAA titles try their best to make you feel emotions and fall flat.
Only other game that made me even remotely tear up at the end was Wolfenstein: The New Order (lol rite?) and Portal 2. Wolfenstein because my whole family is in the military and Portal 2 simply because of how overwhelming it was that everything was finally over, along with the lyrics being what they are... ;_; gawd I feel sad again
I found it hard to be sad about Wolfenstein's story - I think it was pretty good, way better than I was expecting it to be given the nature of the franchise - but I just couldn't feel too emotionally invested in the characters because the whole thing was, not sure how to explain this, but kind of juxtaposed with too much stupid stuff for me to take it seriously.
The only video game story I specifically remember being sad about was in Deus Ex. I failed to detect the imposter mechanic on my first playthrough, causing Jock's death just as he choppers you in to the last level. I knew his death was my fault, and that it could have been avoided. Besides, he was one of my favorite characters, even if he was a rather minor one. He had a lot of personality. I'm sure there are other video game stories I've gotten emotionally attached to, but that's the only one I immediately recall.
SPOILERS: Yeah, thats understandable but tears were in my eyes when he had the flash back when he was with Anya and they had kids and the voice over goes "Its agony to dream like this and wake up to reality. Sometimes, truly, its good to remember what you're fighting for" and then at the end when Anya says "I believe there are still places on this Earth where people can go and be happy!" and Will says "I do too, but not for me and for you" and then the elevator gives way, leading to his death. Dunno, its probably just me though
