[Confession]What has been the worst thing you did on Starbound?

I slaughtered an entire Stargazer village and defaced their "ascending tower"

No survivors. No evidence. Kluex is a rabbit and the Stargazers can kiss my tail feathers.

I've destroyed entire cities because I like the furniture and I don't give a shite about what they call "thievery", I prefer to consider myself top of the food chain, therefore allowed to do what I please with anybody.

In pre-1.0, i were in an Avian town and got attacked by a flying monster, i shoot the monster so the guards attacked me, i killed the guards and for no other reason than because yes i killed the entire town. When i ended i felt like in Hotline Miami when you end the mission and the creepy music shows you that you are a MONSTER. I felt pretty sad

Everyone talk about genociding and mindless killing but there is one thing I did that tops all of these:

I stole the protectorates' toilet paper.

I attacked a black cat in a hylotl village and killed it.

...It was by accident though. D:

I used my janitor as a distraction and most of the time he died, blow a poison tank in an NPC who was being attacked by a monster and the intention was to save him and attracts a lot of monsters to a laboratory and there was a massacre ...

Also less serious crimes like stealing pixels of the pots (addiction received for playing The Legend of Zelda), stealing furnitures and resources of villages / bases / laboratory / houses (and probably steal bananas from the apex, it might be a serious crime)....

I accidentally attacked and killed a darkness person on a Darkness planet. There were two, but one ran away and died due to mobs. And the other now hangs around my house doing nothing.

It wasn't me but my crew killed random non-hostiles in a decayed biome. I tried to run so my crew would follow but they stayed behind to kill them. I've stopped taking my crew with me so much.

I installed a mechsuit mod, then went on a universe-spanning rampage detonating every occupied house I could fine for an entire day. I did this to farm for house parts, and I still didn't get most of them.
I later wound up drilling a hole down to the core of the planet and started dropping people into it through the power of advanced bullying.

Never done anything particularly bad, or anything intentional... I did sell the Protectorate sword to pirates (not sure if that even counts) and have tried various weapons on Esther Bright so I can proceed with my own story (doesn't count, it didn't work) Maybe that one time I went shopping in my underwear at the Outpost. I don't thieve. Maybe that time I turned a switch off a shield in a Hylotl city... but the only deface I did was 2 drains, 1 from each airlock so I could build my underwater base. I have abandoned the story every time.

    Okay, I suck at evil.

evil isnt hard, just stop caring about the feelings of others. they are less important than your own
some guy has a cool door you want? kidnap his family and only trade them for that door.
that might be a little to far... kidnap most his family.

This thread has great timing, I just got done with some torture experiments :sneaky:

Basically, I built a "normal everyday colony," with rooms dedicated to each race. Once all of the tenants moved in, and I had finished all of their fetch quests to the point where they would join my fleet, I exposed tenant to horrors that inflicted with their race, for example, drowning the hylotyl in an acidic-lava mixture, and making the floran get eaten alive by what once was its prey.

    Good times... Good times...

Yeah! That's like how I tied up one Occasus cultist, then gutted another one right in front of him and skipped rope with her intestines. Then I whipped the first one to death with said intestines. I may or may not be embellishing this. I have wanted to bury Asra neck-deep in sewage, whiz on her head and leave her to the snaunts. Just kidding. I'm definitely killing her myself. [/psycho]

That isn't evil, that is more like excessive vengeance. Evil is not exclusive to occasus members only. Also, if you want to actually torture Asra, you tie her up and force her to watch a bunch of program involving inter-species relationship.

LOLOMG ... I just did the exact same thing about 10 hours ago on accident. (except without the poison) and felt sooo bad about it. I didn't even realize what I'd done until about 1 hour later when revisiting the system, then digging in a different part of the sea floor. It was the first Ocean planet I've been to and didn't realive that if you knock out any background tiles prior to reaching deep-UG, then virtually everything floods D: so yeah I was walking around this perfect pristine undersea city, it wasn't any sort of ruin or anything, but totally bereft of life.

No, a worse thing would be to show her lots of data showing her the percentage of known living creatures that are human in contrast to ones that are not, pre and post Ruin. Hold on, if humans are what they say they are, how did the protectorate even come into existence?
