A lot of these are good suggestions, Randomly pick people, pick people who have giving a good idea or two, friends & family and heck just picking people they know would find the bugs in the game.

Personally I hope it is the last one, but I couldn't disagree with the other types. Either way I am betting as the Beta nears there will be more and more people banging on the doors saying "Let me in!" heh...

heh don't know about the whole Elevator thing, but I agree ya just got to chill and do what you do, and not worry about the Beta.

I disagree, I know if I ever got picked for Beta my many friends of the forums would be along with me! Along with (Most likely) All the mods and admin! We'd start a server together and enjoy a great game!

What. If you got picked for the beta, that's you getting picked, not you and all your buddies and friends and pals, and you'd have to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement, meaning you have to keep your mouth shut about everything ingame unless the devs explicitly say otherwise, or else you could get sued for breach of contract.

    It's no small thing.

I know ;) I have a few people in mind that I think would get into Beta ;) And I would never release disclosed information not only is it illegal but it is very very rude and screwed up. if you are trusted with something some other people aren't why give it out?

You are assuming there "Is" a non discloser agreement.. Not all closed Beta's have one, and how they have been sharing information about the game play and other pictures/Videos of the game as they come across it, it is not a for sure thing. Second, with or without the NDA, you can still talk/play with other people in the Beta (As John said), and I am sure if the Server/Client thing is working, someone is going to make a Beta Server for people to come on to compare notes.

i were a beta tester for one other game and the feeling was awesome.i played the whole night and then i send a report and some pictures to the devs, and i were happy even if the game crashed like 4 times a night i enjoyed writing the report.its like having a kid growing up and when it was released i were happy because i helped 'making' this game.and even after the release i enjoyed it for more than 100 hours.so its not as bad as many people think.but thats only my opinion.

Thev idea of being a tester is that you play whenever you can and give feedback from thee of course not everyone can go on everyday i cant yet i would love such position but it seems unlikely considering how vast this community is yet we all know wed like such position its every man and kids dream to be presented with such an honour of testing.I know that some people agree with me so feel free to drop a like on this post and send a reply if not then feel free to send me your opinioun and ill try to answer it as bes as i can.:)
