Concerning the Beta

The beta will probably be on Steam's Early Access.

This would also be beneficial for Starbound/Chucklefish because it would be up for purchase on Steam, thus getting more promotion & sales.

 

But there will be multiplayer someone approached tiy wih the no multiplayer rumor he laughed and said that was just silly and multiplayer was included it was in irc though so i has no proff unfortuantly

 

I agree with this prediction for the added reason that they said they will take down pre-orders when they release the beta. The timing makes sense, as that would mean they're moving the process onto Steam to prepare for the official launch and testing the Steamworks features.

 

I'm guessing end of may.

 

Why would you assume no multiplayer? Tiy has already stated the beta will include all features. A beta is for testing, multiplayer is one of things that needs the most testing.

 

It will surely come on December 25th or the 29th ( based on the amount of people working on it + the years spent on starbound already + the current state of the game / future bugs or problems = December )

 

you post this on every thread. I can literally find 9 other places where you have said this. you are currently 0/9 in guessing the release date

 

So that just means we're waiting on 23 items, which is still less than half.
