Compost bin.

    How about being able to craft a compost bin that allows you to convert waste food and plant material into either some sort of fuel or something that you can use to make plants grow faster (or maybe yield more produce).
    I have no idea how programming works but in my head the production of such a feature would go like this:
    1. Label all items in the game as either compostable, or not compostable.
    2. make a crafting tool (similar to the furnace in effect i guess) where compostable items go in, and useful items such as the ones mentioned above come out.
    3. Decide how valuable (in compost terms) each compostable item is, for example, a foodstuff that required many ingredients to craft would produce more compost than a single plant fibre.

    I think this would add a fun yet non essential element to the game and give an extra purpose for food (i always end up with excess) and other items such as mushroom blocks, plant fibres and those 6 billion wheat seeds i have lying caused by the exponential farming mechanics.
