In matter(existence), time is the awareness of perception. If your brain(perception) reacts fast while(observation); "time" will pass by slower. If your brain(perception) reacts slow while(observation); "time" will pass by faster.

While you sleep, your observation of "time" is very limited, that is why "time" passes by faster.

If you observe "time" - it will seem as so by your own perception that "time" will pass by slower.

In actuality(functions of existence); everything is an illusion. Is time travelling possible you may ask; well if everything is an illusion, then anything can be illustrated.

31. Amused that I went into highest age bracket, first time experience actually.

Laughed a bit while seeing posts with content like "I am not a teenager, I am in my twenties and I feel old". My father is 66, even he feels young. Am I young? Yes, and no amount of gray hairs on my chest is going to change it in foreseeable future. (Just one yet, I should probably call him George.)

Although in 19-21 I, too, was sure that I am grown-up and mature. Probably it is universal self-awareness failure, so don't be offended.

Really depends on how one sees 'mature' as. My view is rather similar to others; "Being responsible". And even at that, others can still be childish, despite responsible.

Which reminds me of one of my favorite short stories, 11. [My favorite number, what a coincidence]
Girl claims that as she turns 11, she is still 10 years old. And 9. And 8. 7. 6... and so on.

For example, while if you're 43, you don't always cry for your mother's help, there's no stopping that urge to cry and look for your mother on desperate times; that pretty much something instinctive.
Which sums up the theory that 'mature' doesn't mean 'not being childish'. Rather, 'getting traits of your right age, along with those that have passed'. In short, an additive experience.

I do see what you mean though. I've seen tons of people act very 'immature' both through the internet and in life.

 

Not something I ever thought I'd say, let alone actually agree with, but:

Youth is wasted on the young.

Maturity has nothing to do with age, I've seen plenty of teenagers more mature than 90% of the population of the planet.

Besides everyone lies on these polls about their age, they at least add one year.
