Playing the new update now. Everything is looking good so far. Thank you devs for all the hard work getting this update out. Honestly my favorite game of the year... cannot wait to see what the coming days will bring.

I'm wondering if there's any word about beling able to delete characters in the future because I sort of went crazy making lots of different characters...

So far it is crashing for me on my windows XP. It is no longer hanging, but is giving me errors. Currently revalidating game cache to see if that will help

Yep, the new patch gives errors, then stops. On Windows XP.

 

So is it a bug that when i die fighting the ufo and i re-spawn it's gone? I've heard some people say it isn't and i've heard some say it is.

It works for my XP x64 Edition OS now. Lot's of error popups but actually has in game. I am so cheesed right now. Thank you so much for your hard work!!!

I have never seen such a reactive company as chucklefish, congratulations all around on what I consider to be a great beta launch, sure there's a few things here and there but you seem to be on top of the vast majority of user feedback and bug reports.

 

How did you get past the errors?

I have a small request, or wish rather... Could you please add thirst? You could buy water real cheap (or expensive depending on the planet?), refine it from snow and cleanse ordinary water to drinking water using a campfire (boiling the water)?
