I wouldn't count on it. It seems like the universe wipe is due to some core changes. It's probably easier to just start fresh. You can remake the character you had, but you'll have to find new items for them. I like to think of it as a chance for a new adventure.

 

Please no resetarino

 

If you reset us, please put in some low level range weapons, fighting the UFO with a weak bow takes FOREVER, and using melee is a pain for it.

 

Have I mentioned i love you all.... seriously this game is amazing I can't wait until it is complete! If that measn enduring character wipes so be it, I don't care i am looking forward to the new leveling and EXP system and the possible new boss as well as the balancing!

they are there, you have to find them though.... there are coordinates for gun dealers in the alpha systems and with the fuel costs finding tech is simple.

the robots ai is pretty uhhh minimal, it was incredibly easy to wall him in and kill him without even getting touched., the ufo was similar, just creating a wall

 

so you would rather have all of the problems that are being fixed in the update???? seriously resetarinos are amazing and realistically I think they will only do it when it absolutely must be done.

 

wipe sucks.. i worked hard for my stuff... ._. bye bye tech powers.. (fking rare crap...) i dont mind loseing everything but the tech power are lose is annoying as balls

 

Lol It wouldn't call beta for no reason.
By the way it only say "This update will probably require a character reset"
So its not 100% sure there will be a character reset.

 

Ahh Tiy don't apologize for our chars being wiped or the delay in the patch, most of us with a brain know this is only phase 1 of a 3 phase beta and stuff like this is to be expected. If they don't like it, don't play atm till maybe next phase of beta. For me, with this big of a balance change even if my char would have been safe I most likely would have restarted anyway to test it from the start. I been playing Terraria and Fallout 3 till the balance change patch hits, since no point in continuing on my char till then. Got me and 3 others all waiting for the patch to drop so we can all play together again. Keep up the great work.

P.s. Please add a autoselect for tools like Terraria had, I am sure you know what I am talking about, it'd make the game much more playable.

Also.. yeah.. the Tech is obnoxiously rare.

 

If there is a way to not reset our characters I am confident you would try to use it. Though things are rarely in our own hands so it may just turn out it has to be. That is the mystery of life.

Seems pretty clear to me. 10 planet levels / 10 tiers = 1 planet level per tier.

He said monsters are being rated with regards to their sector, which I can only assume means night/depth/structure-dependent difficulties.

 

Autoselect would be good, especially considering how the hotbar is kinda weird sometimes. Also, of course i expected resets, but that doesn't mean I am happy about it, although he still doesn't need to apologize.

 

Hell given the mass genocide many characters have actively partaken in, I think alot of player characters DESERVE death
