I second this. I've searched all over and can't find anything that helps me.

 

I'm having a love/hate thought process with the item/stat changes, so I'll hold off judgment until I see it in action.

Have you both tried running in Administrator mode? Also, if you could PM me the info I can try and help troubleshoot.

 

what stops my lag, run "launcher in steamapps/common/starbound/launcher/launcher.exe as administrator.. run in 1080p and run in full screen

When is the update coming?

 

Remember folks. This is a beta. Give the changes a try before saying they are destroying the challenge of the game. The beta period is guaranteed to be very very long with the amount of funds they have and new income they are getting from Steam sales. I highly doubt that version one will be even remotely the same look or feel as the current beta.

And yes. Atleast for the earlier part of the beta there WILL be character wipes. Yes it sucks considering the time we put into it. However, We had plenty of warning this was going to be the case and NOBODY should be investing serious time they do not have into the beta thinking they can keep their rare finds going into the future.

Give them time. These are massive changes and I am sure the goal is to not require yet another character wipe to hotfix a rushed patch.

 

Yeah i agree, I didn't know about the wipe and i have a giant castle with more than 20k bricks put into it lol

I just thinhk the devs should focus on the low FPS, crashings and others that are making the game unplayable by many.
My problem its the low FPS. No possible solution worked here

 

It would mean early tier content would not be properly retested if you were guaranteed to get tier 2 from the start. No this is the beta and we had plenty of warning that this could happen. Everyone starts fresh and I am sure will look up the ingame gun vendor.

 

Hey Quazi, i dont see why i should wait for 2nd or 3rd stage, lore is a bonus to me, i just feel humans lack lore. My friends and I cant wait for the reset, because we had issues with the damage systems.

 

What graphics card are you using? Also, processor if you know it.

 

I only get lag near large dungeons, but whats your CPU? for me, i have a 3.60 ghz, so you might need to consider closing out of un needed programs.

 

People with XP need to stop whining and update their ancient machines...

 

Seriously...I dont even think XP is supported by MS officially any more...

 

I some-what agree, but mac is also having trouble, and one does not simply fix a mac by themselves.
