    This doesn't seem to work anymore for names as I am not able to type in the symbols required during character name creation. Is there an alternative method?

    Should still be possible using dump_versioned_json and make_versioned_json, or perhaps just SBSE if it's working on 1.0 yet.

    Every time i go to make a character i cant type special char. such as ^ or # and no i cant copy and paste them, How do i fix this?

    Create a mod by extracting the asset.pak, copy this file and delete "regex" : "[a-zA-Z0-9 '-]{0,16}", in the "Name" section.
