    OH OFCOURSE! I'am too have dat problem with minecraft mods! But i wanna to help with develop this mod, that mod is best at this moment and rly interesting, but right now i have some gaps in my LUA understanding, some type of hard realisation for first view... And btw can i help with something? I wanna to make function for villagers to be Craftsman, them make a food crate and storage them on some blocks. Player can collect them and craft some Kiwi or other resources from them, i think that nice idea, obviously it will decrease a food counter.

    For the answer i didn't see it, sorry for that. It would be great they can grow seeds for me :p especially resin that grows so slow >_<
    For the red text - i saw it, i just specify information because i can't find what exactly functionality is included to this current version on description page. I do not have any pretension for mod quality or functionality, just questions :) I really love that i would be like soon - it would be great! ^_^

    p.s. be more be more friendly and less aggressive.

    Fluid what exaaclty do you need help with? If you need a good reference look at the ccode from the vanlia npcs farming

    It's a bit harder than i thinked a day ago, LUA after minecraft modding... Just now i looks how it works, some code refference and go on...


    Java modding before and ActionScript3 gamedev, LUA new language for me for now... I need just take a look how it takes Item and object names, and there we go! I'll try to stay modding that mod :D And i have other mods to rewrite , them outdated i make a modpack from 30 mods, it takes time cuz them conflicting, i'll fix bugs and post release version here, when finish with colonies ...

    Better do separate mod, dont waste time for pack :) One reason the author of this mod said and the other - people just may want to have one or two mods not all because all of mods are different and can make game as easier as harder so people should have a chance to decide what exactly they would like have :)

    I will wait for your update for this mod if you can do growing seeds for player by colonists :)

    All mods would be separate just packed in one ZIP archive and reduced conflicts ,and ballanced to HARDCORE GAMEPLAY, As gregtech in minecraft... MUUUUCH HARDER...

    Yes, more hardcore balance! :D I like a game that challenge you, once we get pack support for mods i think its less likely for conflict mod/mod.

    Severdskull, your work in scripts are great! Finally the planets gets more alive, i had to abonded my first colonie for a better planet so i feel a bit quilty haha

    Nope, outdated mods, that modify whole player.config file and other what you need to put into assets folder holly crap! Fully rewrited them are nice but outdated ...Just little bugfixing and keeping up to date nothing new and 2 custom mods...

  14. Im not angry, Im just annoyed because you do not read what is already available. Every single question you have asked so far has either already been asked by someone else and answered, or is contained in the mod description.
    Your tone is implying that you are condescending towards my mod because it doesn't have features you want yet, adding further frustration when I have already stated expressed interest in a more developed system in place of the current ones.

    Well if people wrote their mods CORRECTLY there wouldnt be any conflicts what-so-ever. That was the whole point of the _merge feature. Instead of overwriting JSON data you append to it. The fact that there is conflictions still just means that current modders do not know what they are doing.

    Thats the goal... I just wish I wasn't so severely limited by API in what I could code... Having rainfall speed up crops for instance, is a feature I would like to have! Sadly I have no script support for anything regarding weather.

    Please don't... If you have a mod pack, awesome! But don't post info about it here... My thread has already been derailed enough with all this Modpack talk.

    I am totally shocked, in which of my post you have seen tone that "implying that you are condescending towards my mod because it doesn't have features you want yet"? I am just ask info that is not places in description of the mode at the first page - just some specific things i want to know about current version of it.
    And yes i haven't read all this thread because truly i don't have to - if you are author of the mod - you should take all asked questions and put it to the description of the mod, so you wont get them asked again.
    There was only 1 my mistake - that i didn't was you answered about functionality, and on which i already apologized. You are the first author of mod who had reacting like that on user questions.

    If you are the author of any software for people you should be prepared for users questions and its a not big deal if somebody ask what already have been asked. It just appear that he interested it your work. So get it like complement and not discontent of your work.

    And if you don't like suggestions to new functionality for your mod (as which i suggested) you can just don't do it, thats all.

    I disappointed in which manner do you talk with users of your mod. This is really disappointing, but not the mod functionality.

    Oh. Hehe. I dont know if this is possible, but if you could use the homeplanet function, you know when the icon shows up at the planet you choose, i wonder if you could use that so when i colony is started you get an marker of some sort on that planet? To clarify, so you could see on planets you had "coloniesed"
     
  19. Pretty sweet idea, but highly unlikely Ill be able to do something like that in the near future. The UI for starbound is pretty much locked down. Not a single one of us know how to implement our own functions into the UI.
