Overview: "G" A codename given to the creature by its creators. Formed by a mistake. Its sights set on the one face it knows to be familiar. A face it only recognizes because the creature and its prey share it.Your face. Backstory: A new scientist has just joined your team. He seems kind, knowledgeable, and respectful enough to put your guard down. A perfect disguise. Life never treated this scientist well, so he's decided he wants to take everyone down a peg or two, or in your case, more. He sees you going on successful mission after successful mission, gaining the praise of everyone you meet, and the green-eyed monster shows up. As you go about your business, he secretly takes samples of your hair, fingerprints, and sweat, like the creeper he is. In the darkest corner of the laboratory, he brings about his plan. His plan being to create an army of clones of you, set them loose in the galaxy, and destroy your reputation until people spit at you when they pass you by. At least, that's the plan. On the big day, the day he finally begins the clone creation process, a problem arises. He forgot to account for the huge power surge this machine would cause. The power dies. Due to the shortage, the machine didn't work properly and a half-baked clone emerges from the tank. As it struggles to gain its bearings, it attacks the scientist, knocking him out. Confused, it runs through the space station, finally coming upon you, a mirror image of itself. It lunges at you, and so the battle begins, a battle against 'yourself'. (Also, please don't base your opinion on my entry on solely this picture, I realize it's simple, but it's EXACTLY how I wanted it to look.) The Battle:G uses all the same weapons you have at the time, but as it's still a little out of it, it's aim with weapons is off, helping make it a fair fight.Of course, there'll have to be limitations on which items it can use, like it spamming healing items probably wouldn't be very fun. I'm going to assume you're referring to the fact I merely used an effect on an existing image. While you are correct, what more could I do? This was my idea. That's how I wanted it to look. What would you have me do? In any case, realizing the image was simple, I added a metric ton of backstory and writing, as much as my brain could whip up. Or did you not notice that? You could work on being a bit more positive, my friend ;D
Critique starts witha K-sound. Anyway, not a bad idea at all! I like him more than the Doppelgänger, which is quite alike this one. Another mob I would love to see winning... Good luck on the competition!
Really good backstory, l would hate to fight this in game though, it would feel kinda creepy (That is not a bad thing)
