Bug/Issue Co-op bug?

I'm player 2 in the new online co-op campaign. Player 1 got defeated by the ai. Now the multiplayer menu says it is player 2's turn to play, but since only player 1 can select a new mission, we seem to be stuck in the mission select menu. Since I can not communicate with player 1, I don't know what to.
Edit: multiplayer game code is 7QJVZT
player 1 can move around on the mission select map, but doesn't seem able to pick one because it is p2's turn.
