I have a big clutter problem on my ship, storage space is being quickly taken, items existing in multiple stacks, and increasing difficulty in finding homes for these items while waiting for the update that lets you sell things. Is there an easy way to get organized? Or do I have to go through a massive keep-and-toss? If the second option, is there an efficient way of doing so?
You could also just build a warehouse on any planet, write down the coordinates and store everything there. o.o
Or I can just bookmark the planet and label it as my warehouse, but that still doesn't mean that I can remember what item was in what chest and stack what I got there.
Write the coordinates down anyways, bookmarks have a bad habit of disappearing sometimes. There's still a signstore thingy iirc to write labels for your chests, and if I'm not completely mistaken there's even a mod that sorts your chests automatically.
Moved to Starbound FAQs, Q&A, and General Help. In-game and Billing Support is for technical issues with the game.
Well I feel stupid. Apparently, I learned you can shift-click to automatically move items onto existing ones in containers. Now I'll have more room in my containers. But I'll still take your warehouse suggestion into consideration. Thanks for the help, Kayuko. And thanks to Dunto for helping to getting my thread in the right place.
I really need to make this its own thread... A long post with images on how I organize all my crap. Hopefully this will be helpful.
There is a mod that has pre-made labels (ie. clothing, armory, fuel, etc..) This will be a great way for you to organize all your stuff.
