Closed Closed New Update deleted my characters

As the title says, steam updated my Starbound today at 90AM GMT and upon trying to get on it had wiped all of my characters, I don't want to start another character incase this makes it impossible to get my old ones back, Any help is appreciated

 

The update renders prior characters obsolete, everyone who did update had their accounts reset... sorry.

 

You must not have been paying attention to any other postings in the past 3 days. It was announced 3 days ago that there would be an update that erased characters and their worlds. It's all in the updating and balancing of beta.

 

Ahhh sorry, I have only been playing for the past day and have yet to look at the forums, Thanks for the speedy replies Ill close this thread if I can

 

yeah, just saying you want it closed, when an admin sees it they will lock it for no more replies.
