Maybe is a string related to the character itself not to the save file? Idk, maybe a condition...

 

In the <NPC> string under <Characters> there isn't anything else that points to dialogue changes. I have a feeling it might be something in the <Relationships> strings but I'd need to do some testing as I'd rather not mess with those on peoples save files without knowing 100% exactly what they do. It shouldn't be difficult to figure out. I'll let you know if I get make any progress (I'm assuming you'd like to know).

TBH, I hope that CA changes this stuff so that the spouse will hang out with the other wives and stuff (or husbands...basically anyone that wouldn't make the PLAYER jealous, since they can apparently get jealous too?). Honestly, there's so much that could be done to enhance things after you get married in the game...but...I don't know if CA will do any of it, heh.

 

I don't know. Seems pretty realistic to me. Spouse getting jealous at almost anything you do if you don't let them know or you are not with them.
