Closed Client-Server connection no longer valid!

    Hi guys! So I just started getting this message today after being able to play for weeks. I've googled all day trying to find a solution but no luck. I was wondering if any of you might have and idea to whats happening. I'm not able to join any multiplayer servers public or private. :( After I join I get a few seconds of play and crash. Thanks for the help in advance!

    When my friend joins he crashes as well, but when we go to a public server I crash but he doesn't.

    I just want to play with my friends. :cry:[DOUBLEPOST=1429247030][/DOUBLEPOST]I have found out what the problem is. It's not starbound at all (I believe). I have a modem/router set up with my ISP tho the "routing" is off since its extra $$$ (supposedly). When I put the modem/router in bridge mode so I can use my own router it doesn't let me stay connected to servers for long. When it is not in bridge mode, I had no problem. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

    Anyways, I'm going to try to find a solution for this. I just thought to leave what I found out here in case someone else is in the same boat?

    Does it work if you plug right into your modem? Also, you should be able to connect through your router even if the modem is not in bridge mode. Maybe your router is being finicky. If you don't have any issues coming right off the modem, you could always try resetting both to factory defaults (as long as that won't mess with your modem, some modems store ISP logins which can be blown away if you reset so check first). After you reset, bring up the modem first, then the router.
