Class and Skill systems

    Since starbound is getting more and more RPGish,I'd thought that I might suggest different classes for all races.For example,you could be a human warrior,or a avian rogue.Each class would also have certain benefits and skills.This would make the game more in dept and make the game more interesting.

    Class Ideas
    Warrior = Proficient in 2 handed weapons,has high hp and attacks have a wide range.
    Rogue = Proficient in dual wielding 1 handed weapons,has fast running speed and stealthier,and attacks are very fast.
    Paladin = Proficient in 1 handed weapons,with a shield in the other hand,has high defence and armor.
    Gunslinger = Proficient in dual wielding guns,fast attack speed.

    Skill Ideas
    There could be different skills for each class,for example,a swing attack for the warrior or a salvo of explosive shots from the gunslinger.

    As far as I've understood, the classes in Starbound depend on the gear you're wearing. I think this is a pretty good system and should not be changed. However, I'm hoping to see stuff such as your suggestions, as bonuses or qualities in certain armor sets. Having a char you love just be one class all the game would not be as much fun.

    To me, this game is something that will be different from the usual setting of roleplaying and instead offer a lot of variety and options.

    I thought the armor thing was the racial attributes that,for example enabled an avian to fly.But I thought that It'll be cool to have a class system.
