Theres a 360 video in that link that makes me really want VR for some things like the planets in Mass Effect, especially 1. Some of those had amazing vistas despite the graphics being so old. (And 1080p not even being supported)

 

Now with things like that the idea of VR sounds really cool

 

Spent like 6 minutes in BF1 in a single room without dying reviving people getting killed by grenades from a long manor hallway filled with enemies we were trying to push through. We had around 8 guys with us and couldn't make any progress at all. (while I handed out morphine like free candy) suddenly I turn around to face a light tank in the room with us waiting for me to finish reviving the dead before he lead the charge. The guy repaired the burning tank that sat at 10 hp for the entire time we were fighting in that room. I ran past the thing to join the group, and used it to push down a French manor's, palace really, hallway. I laughed the entire time we rolled over the opposition. They were rather surprised as well.

We should keep a record of all wild Spike sightings, and the memes that are posted too. In a few years it could be worth a few more internet points that it is now.

I think I saw 2 or 3 Wild Spikes in my lifetime, gonna post screenshots if I can find them
