so, i want to post a wall of text. it's all spoilers, too.

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON

Kip is not a Subred to Superviolet Polychrome. he's a full spectrum polychrome. a true full spectrum polychrome. Chi to Parryl. maybe further.

Gavin/the-man-in-the-cell wasn't actually Gavin. and when he was shot by Dazen/Gavin, he wasn't actually shot. because he wasn't there. Gavin/Dazen was insane the whole time, and is actually a Black Drafter. Black Drafters are revealed to be able to steal the drafting power of other Drafters. Gavin/Dazen actually killed Gavin/the-man-in-the-cell at Sundered Rock. Black Luxin also devours memories, which is why nobody knows exactly what happened at Sundered Rock, and Gavin/Dazen doesn't remember either. the Luxin Prison holding the-man-in-the-cell is actually holding Gavin/Dazen's will, and the-man-in-the-reflection is that part of his will, intended to mentally torture the-man-in-the-cell/Gavin's subconscious. there's a Black Luxin prison, too. this doesn't hold his will. it holds an angel/demon/thing, instead.

Kip isn't Gavin(actually Dazen)'s son(we already knew this). but he also isn't the-man-in-the-cell(real Gavin, not actually real)'s son. he's Andross Guile's son. the person he believed to be his grandfather. which means he's not Gavin's bastard. he's Gavin's brother. and the prophecy/riddle now fits him, rather than Sevastian, Andross' third son.

Orholam's eye, the most brutal execution method ever- strapping someone to a giant mirror, then pointing 100 mirrors at them, on a sunny day- is not just a way to kill bad people. it's actually intended to reveal hidden demons/angels/things.

Orholam may not actually be a sentient being. he/it might actually just be a massive concentration of Luxin/magic. and he/it is hidden on the island of the seers, locked behind a gate that can only be opened by a colorblind Black Prism. which means Gavin/Dazen.

there are almost certainly colours below/above Chi/Paryl. and they have Bane. which means they have Gods.

the Broken Eye, a group of insane religious extremist assassins, might actually be the good guys. they support Kip, the Lightbringer.
the Colour Prince, an insane religious extremist, and possibly Black Drafter, might ALSO be the good guy. he DOESN'T support kip, the Lightbringer.
