Dang, I'm starting to see your point.
Well, I'm trying to make progress in Touhou 8 now, I failed to finish 7 for awhile, so I'm setting it aside for a bit. So far I've decided that birds are EVIL, bugs are cool, Reimu has no clue how to hunt monsters, and Marisa is a little insane, and I don't even know what team I like best.

From the parts 6-9 I liked 7th the most.
By the way, are non-homing bullets more useful than homing ones? In terms of damage, that is.

 

I'm not sure, but on the other hand Reimu's team is rather slow moving, and is the only homing team in 8. So it's a bit annoying.
And yeah, I'm not liking 8 much, so I might just try to beat it on easy quickly then move on to 9.
