On a different note, I had a calc test today. While I was up front waiting to ask the teacher a question I noticed that not a single person was happy about their situation, everyone was frustrated, defeated, visibly frustrated or a mixture thereof. Previous students warned us of that test but even with the extra studying it went badly.

 

I'm not quite sure if schools are too hard on students or if they're all just too easy to defeat.

 

I remember failing a calc test before. The test with the lowest grade (that one) was dropped and I ended up with an A in the class. That was the last math class I ever took, since I only needed that class in order to go into bio major.

 

This test had very little on what we actually learned. The rest was needlessly complicated algebra. What could've been tested in a space a few inches tall instead required most of a page just to write everything out.
