I am playing Final Fantasy II: Dawn of Souls and I must say that I find the leveling system a bit messy and complicated. It could work better in an action RPG, The Elder Scrolls uses something similar, but it very weird in a turn based game.

Reminds me of both Cortex Command and Jelly In The Sky.
    ...
Dammit, Cortex Command would've been such a better experience if it came out on modern tech instead of 15 years ago on Python.

    Saal Spaceman Spiff

Well, that's how games are when they are being made for over 10 years.

  9. Saal

    Saal Spaceman Spiff

That doesn't mean I don't need an upgrade! :viking:

    ?
On Xbox pad you could roll in any direction, even while being locked.

    Fun. :DD
Here it's not that cheap to have a car, but it's manageable.
I guess I'll wait for photos then. :^)

    Git gud :^)

    Git gud :^)
You can learn how to fight them without dying
    (But it keeps happening anyway)

Yes. Alternatively one can git gud :^), but it's way better on a pad.
Speaking of which, my xbox dongle seems to have died. D:
How will I play games now?!

Except even for the time, they could've chosen not to make it with Python.
I get it made it super moddable, but there's a reason it's not used for coding games.

Hopefully Noita's engine will be more stable, and faster.
And if it's not held onto, but shared a bit, we can expect tons and tons of fun pixel physics games.

The game chuggs on modern hardware.
Unless they just kept doing things to worsen the performance while also adding things I don't see how it would've run then.

I just mean that every pixel in Cortex Command is simulated just like in Noita, but in Noita it all runs so much smoother when you detonate a big fuck-off bomb.
I've already started to see a few pixel-physics games popping up lately. I love seeing stuff with huge amounts of interactivity like that.

Other than BOTW, what are some good switch games?

If you like Musou games, Hyrule Warriors is a lot of fun, even if it is just a re-release. And of course, Xenoblade 2 is also enjoyable, if you like corny (and mildly scantly clad) goons savin' the world.

Who doesn't like corny and mildly scantily clad goons savin' the world?
    Evil schmucks, that's who!

Just returned from my failed D&D game.

The players scattered all across the world are more reliable than the players who are literally a few blocks away from where the game is taking place. (To be fair, I had no way to loudly contact them like texting or anything, only Email, but still. And that was fixed just a bit ago, so next time this problem should not arise.)
