Update: Rice somehow fixed it
The slot to insert the charger was filled with rice and I had to take that out tho

 

I never got my phone wet but my battery did expand once.
I went to an apple iphone repair shop and got it replaced for $40. It was not much of a hassle as I thought. I really hope it's less severe than that; otherwise you may have to visit an apple store.

 

That sounds bad, how did it expand?

Aw that's nice! But my phone literally got thicker because teh battery expanded; battery expansion means there are some sort of reaction in the battery that causes it to get bigger, which means the battery is ruined. I had to get my battery replaced, which isn't as bad as I thought.
