So House Flipper is relaxing as hell, and I get to live the dream of overcharging people for doing really easy things~

 

The game? Has it released already?

I was looking forward to being able to do part of what I do for work IRL as a game.
Interior design is fun when it doesn't take a month for everything to arrive once you've picked it out. And moving walls doesn't take 2 months & 4 inspections.

 

Yep, it released either this week or last, and so far I'm enjoying it. My only grip is the limited quantity of color shades, I wish there was more faded colors, everything is bold even if it states faded or pastel in the name. For example, I 'm painting the home office, just cause you can, and I wanted to do dark furniture with faded walls. I went with Faded Lemon and it came out, well, lemon-ish, but not really faded. It's kind of an eyesore.
Other stuff I like are the little cheatsy things you can do. Like buy white paint and whatever color paint. You fill the roller with white then just dip it in the other color, and poof, a roller filled with color. And when you're done, you can sell the bucket of colored paint back for near full price

I spent a lot of time in furniture stores today and I ended up wondering about this game. I really, really like games that let me mess with interior design.

 

Also, I like how you get perks the more you do stuff, it makes it feel like you're improving techniques and making connections. You do have to do some "tutorial" stages before you get to buying a house, but they're done really well and they don't act like you're a child.
