Here it is! the End! Da Finito! That's it! That's all folks!

So essentially, the events in all three arcs have occurred for 21,000 times, albeit with slight differences. Every single time, Everyone's Nico was created, but a different person made it to Everyone's Nico each and every time. Everyone's Nico then took the person's fondest of wishes, and makes a new world according to that wish. This is an allegory to Nico submitting to his audience's requests, and plays a game he didn't like, and this causes his audience to think Nico doesn't know good games, causing more audience to send requests to Nico for games they like, but may be not well received overall. It's a vicious cycle that robs Nico's precious time and effort, and the only way to break this cycle is to let Nico play the games he wants to play. This is what happened here, and here is how the cycle ends.

Also, the world have reset 21,000 times, and Random can access 21,000 possible worlds. Coincidence?

Tomorrow! A new dawn, and the conclusion of the entire PPDC comic series. It's been a hell of a roundabout ride, and I'm so glad all of you joined me on this journey!

 

Damn dude this is some of the deepest lore, i respect your ability to make something so tragic and interesting out of what seems like such a silly premise.

 

It has been a wild year. Thank you so much for you and everyone else's support for this comic. Tomorrow, we will see the final page of the comic, and then I shall release the whole thing into a dropbox so you can download it if you'd like. Thanks again for all the support!

This was like 14 or so years ago

 

a timeless classic

 

So...
I had a dream of... well the best way to describe it is a traveling improv play thats very monty python.

a little background info, the play as i mentioned was very improv. Like the play would never entirely be the same, even if it did follow a sort of guideline for the 'story'. However they wanted the audience to also be very much apart of the whole show, so their stage was pretty short and small, keeping the main action up on basically a foot or so tall platform, while adding support cast and such off to the sides of it. The other thing they did to make the audience involved, was they randomly gave a few of the audience members a random prop.. it could be a 'bomb' or can of giant insect repellant, or maybe a special prop that would call attention to them ('Something is happening.... LOOK! OVER THERE!' -light suddenly shines on said member holding special prop-) Just random things. And they would all do different things and cause different outcomes. So like for instance you could throw the bomb prop out onto the stage, thus sabatoging the knights that come to rescue the princess, or.. something silly like bombing the princess, and they would improv around it to somehow try to continue the story.. in some form or other xD

So the play began about the same as always, something i seem to know since apparently dream me loves this play (and i know i fucking would if it were real xD) Theres this guy who comes out onto stage as the narrorator/host kind of thing. You know, he welcomes everyone, and gets everyone engaged as he brings the story to an open.
And randomly someone throws the bomb prop out, trying to bomb the narrorator xD but it fails terribly cause it bounces off the side of the stage, and lands at MY feet instead!

So im like. "BOMB!" as i jump to my feet, "OH SHI..-" i yelp out as i jump off to the side. And i seemed to time it perfectly too, since as i leapt the 'bomb' goes off with its little effect. So i end up off to the side of the stage.. and decide to kinda play it off, just laying there. I was actually just gonna stay there for a little bit before returning to my seat.. but then the fucking narrorator look over, sees me and is like "Oh bugger. Another one." then points at one of the random people that was standing off in the back, "Excuse me madam~ A seat has just opened up."

So im like. Fuck it. Im already here, i can see enough of the play to enjoy it. Im going to play a dead person prop.

xD and so when the narrorator steps off stage to let the opening scene begin, he sees me.. steps off back stage.. and dies. You can barely hear him asking 'has she been there the whole time?' as theyre laughing their ass off xD

So the play has this thing they called the stretcher crew. Its basically a pair of disfigured.. uhm.. I suppose you could say they look something akin to what you might expect the hunch backed Igor to look like. and they come out with a stretcher to load the various 'dead' or 'dieing' cast, to get them off stage without breaking immersion...
so... since i stayed 'dead', and was laying in a kinda active spot for some later scenes.. they brought the bloody stretcher crew out.. loaded me on.. and hauled my 'dead' ass back stage, where the narrator was like. "You just had to stay dead, didnt you?" to which i responded with no hesitation, and maybe a hint of malace, "YOU SOLD MY CHAIR TO A HAG!" which just kills him xD

We end up doing some back and forth improv jokes and punchlines and such, many many chuckles had. And i end up being allowed to stay back stage.. until a scene comes around where they raise the dead.

Now they had told me i should probably just stay back stage til the show was over.. but i mean. I 'died'... and they were raising the dead. What more ammo did i need? So im like 'THATS my que!" and jump and put on my best zombie walk i can possibly get.. and slowly slink out from the back stage.. and start B lining it to the lady sitting in my chair xD

Now in the scene theres several knights that come in and slay all the zombies and such, and thus thwart the evil lich king.. or something like that. So when i start heading towards my stolen seat.. one of the knights rushes over to 'save the fair maiden' and such.. He runs over, spouting his chivilrous nonsense before 'stabbing me' and such.. and i almost let it go there.. but i just had to grasp the sword as i fall to my knees 'dieing' and yelp out 'I just wanted my seat!'

And ofcoarse, the stretcher crew comes back out and hauls me back, everyone there chuckling and the narrorator is just like "You just couldnt stay dead could you?" and i think i responded something like, "But i thought i had a fighting chance D:" xD
however.. the most important thing is, because of that little improv. i became a punchline. because the moment i fall over, and the stretcher crew rushes out to haul me away. The knight turns to the lady and is like 'You wot? Did you really steal her seat?' and the scene kept going on in that direction. It even ended up having one of the knights stabbed and killed because he agreed with the lady, and would totally have taken the seat had he the chance. Even the undead actors get in on it, one of them sitting down to tell a story about how their casket was stolen by some fat guy and ended up busting it.. And at the end of all of it, all of the undead decided to go 'home' to think on their new chance at life, and the terrible happenings of my stolen seat, thus ending the invasion of the undead and leaving a few very disgruntled knights to continue their 'quest'

and ofcoarse, it doesnt end there! since as i said, i had literally became the plays punchline, much like how in monty python theres just that one random thing that seems to keep popping up later on, so too did the fact that my seat got stolen. And at the very end of the play, theres a scene where the princess gets ahold of this magical something or other that grants a single wish.. And normally, storywise, she would make a wish that would 'save her people ' or something like that.. but of coarse. Instead of wishing that, she was all dramatic about it. and was just like "Oh.. if theres only one act of cruelty i could undo.. if only there was one rightous justice that be brought.. it would have to be that the young lass has not her seat returned.. but instead granted life once more, born upon the greatest seat of all!"
or something like that xD

So the crew back stage freeze up for a moment.. theyre like.. 'wait how do we do that?'
So they look around and find one of those carried thrones. You know one of the ones where the four people carry it about, usually for like parades or something like that.. It was all gold and shiny and stuff, so it was absolutely perfect. They seat me on that and carry me out on it, and music that plays when a cliche miracle happens, that plays and everyones all cheering and such as im brought up onto stage, and set down. And you can hear one of the knights, very obviously pointing at the lady in my seat 'Youre going to have to through me if you wanna steal that one, missy'

And ofcoarse i absolutely have to ham it up.. so i stand from the throne, and thank the princess for the wonderful chair.. then i turn to the audience and im just like "I wanna thank mah maams and mah paps.. for always bein there ta sapport me.. and mah-" and i get cut off by being stabbed.. BY THE SAME KNIGHT THAT STABBED THE ZOMBIE ME FROM EARLIER, while screaming "AH SHUT UP AN STAY DEAD" So there i am. Dead again. On my wished for seat. and as the curtains come to a close, im pulled OFF MY FRIGGEN SEAT And put on the stretcher again xD

Thank you, everyone, for a wild, wild ride! It has been a hectic year for me, particularly because I had to juggle between work, school and makign comics, but every bit of this is worth it. Your support has been my greatest motivations, and I couldn't imagine all the fan arts you've made for this comic.
