I only accept the death of a villain if its truly check mate. If that character would do something to get out of it, then they would do so. There are ofcoarse exceptions, but they are case by case. (such as the character crossing lines that the other players cannot stand. My character wouldnt be killed, they would just simply leave and id get a different one out.

as for protagonist... i think there may be some language barriers here that im not interested in sorting out atm. You may have a completely different understanding of the words than i do.

Alright, I'll take that. But I am ok with villains taking a permanent loss, and let the heroes get the credit, like, for example, the heroes took out the villain, who was actually trying to save everyone. The heroes realize the mistake, save the world in his stead, and the villain was never mentioned again. It's sad, but it will happen, and to me, I think that's the true mark of a villain who can really let go of stuff.

And to be honest, I feel that the villains (we'll use your definition here) who kills people, but later redeems themselves through acts, isn't that praiseworthy, since they will get the praise, and be forgiven of their sins. That's fair, that's just, but that's not a sacrifice I can sink my teeth into. A villain that I like will die for what they believes in, whether it be fair or foul, and their resolution would only be defeat.

yeah i guess but i prefer the more of a hole evil like i was playing swtor and i shocked this chick for no reason and had to get an object that only she could unlock and after she unlocked it well...i shocked her again because why not hell i spent half the game death by lightning to all and although it wasn't true evil it is still pretty evil especially when i manipulate and deceive people and whatnot also i wouldn't think that there will ever be anything that realistic or unnecessary in a game

a true villain wouldnt seek to redeem themselves unless it was to better their public image to get closer to the ones they wish to harm, and they most certainly have a long term goal of dieing of old age. -nods nods-

I also would like to add that i dont believe a true evil would become obsessed over petty things such as power, or money. Greed would only slow them down, and characters that follow such paths would most certainly know this, lest they become a lesser evil.
Like i mentioned before, a true evil would harm everyone simply because they enjoy it. Like a far more twisted troll. They would do things to get under their targets skin, possibly even literally, while leaving dominoes to topple over and cause as much damage to everyone around that target for shits and giggles. They have no true purpose, no message to give, nothing to stand for. They have no motives aside from the pure enjoyment of what they do.

    To this whole thing:
It's irreverent if you never monologue. Monologuing is the biggest killer of villans everywhere.

DS2 can actually play on rather low spec PCs, it's very well optimized, unlike DS1.

Is it good to start from DS2, then?

I don't care about the difficulty level. After all it's supposed to be hard. (no innuendos included)
Okay then... I still need a pad

they're pretty much the same difficulty. DS2 just has a tutorial.

Dark Souls II is easiest, then the first Dark Souls, then Demon Souls.
The series gets more casual as it progresses. not that it wasn't casual already
