How do you cook them?

 

People don't eat them here. (besides the most common chestnut here isn't really edible I think)
...but I tried them out on a winter fair in Wrocław some time ago. I didn't like them.
I'm not sure how were they prepared them, though

The ones that's sold on the supermarkets here are mostly tasteless and pretty bad, but we actually buy a lot during our yearly visit to another city They're really fresh and from farms there and not imported
Roasting them in the oven is usually great
