Sometimes I see the valley characters talking about the city of zuzu. It would be nice to have missions there and be able to visit or even make new friendships with possible romances.

Observation and suggestion: I noticed that with the passage of time we got rich on the farm. And there will be nothing to spend the money, since we already bought and built everything that was possible there. So it would be a good idea if we could buy houses or apartments in other cities with the remaining money from the farm. Thus, it may be possible to even spend the winter in this city with your spouse and children. We could even buy a car there so it would not be necessary to use the bus.
Yes, it seems typical of "The Sims". But it would still be great to see this in Stardew Valley.
It may also be possible to borrow a loan from a bank in the city if we are very poor at the beginning of the game.

Yeah, Zuzu City would make for a pretty cool addition. (It could become available after getting the bus fixed, like with Calico Desert.) It probably wouldn't have to be a full "map" -- just a street in the city that you can walk down after travelling there could work.

I've actually been toying with this general idea myself, and I was thinking maybe it could be used as sort of a "shopping district" with a number of specialty stores selling things that aren't available in Pelican Town. Not exactly the same as your vacation home idea, but it could still serve as a kind of money sink. Some possible specialty stores might be:
Art Gallery -- Sells paintings and sculptures as home decor, including both a few of the same kind sold at the Carpenter's Shop and a number of store-exclusive pieces. Could include artwork "made" by Leah following her 8-heart event.
Butcher/Grocery Store -- Sells meats, fish and (in the latter case) crop foods that might otherwise be out of season, for cooking purposes. It could poooossibly be implied that this is where coop and barn animals end up when you sell them? (And/or where shipped produce and fish end up)
Bookstore -- Sells bookshelves and actual books to go with them. These would work a bit like the lost books you can find and then read in the library, except with more of a focus on short stories and general game universe lore as opposed to hints for gameplay. Following Elliott's 8-heart event, it could include books (or perhaps chapters of a single, longer book?) "written" by him.
Music Store -- Sells both a stereo that can be placed in the home and a headphones item that can be either worn or simply kept in the inventory, both of which allow you to play game music of your choice when interacted with. Unlike the jukebox in the Saloon, this "personal" music has to be bought in the store as well (but this gives you the benefit of not having to sift through music that you wouldn't be interested in listening to anyway). Following Sam's 8-heart event, a small handful of songs in the chosen style of the band become available as well.
Restaurant -- Book a reservation here to eat out with friends and/or family or to go on a date with your significant other. Could include a brief cutscene of the meal, with some sort of random conversation between you and whomever you're eating with. Eating here costs money, of course, but it both fills your energy to max and raises friendship with whomever you eat with.
Clothing Store -- Sells new outfits for your farmer to wear, as well as for kids and possibly your spouse. These outfits can then be accessed from dressers in your home, where you can switch among them and your/your family's default appearance(s). Some of the clothing could be "made" by Emily.
Pet Supplies Store -- Sells toys and things for your cat or dog and possibly your horse. These would probably mostly be decorative, but a pet bed or doghouse could serve as a specific place for your animal to go to sleep and some toys (like a fetching ball) could be interacted with to play with your pet. Could also be a general pet store, and sell things like fishbowls or cages/terrariums with small animals in addition to the supplies.
Kids/Toy Store -- Sells toys and other items for children. Mostly just decor for your kids' room or to otherwise show the presence of the children in the house, really.

I dunno how well buying winter homes would work -- it would probably work better using a larger map than the little shopping district idea I had  But being able to buy a vehicle could be interesting, and would certainly make for a good large purchase!
