<--An early sketch This is my first attempt in logo design, so do not judge too severely... Please state your opinions and offer your versions of this if you wish to UPDATE THE LATEST VERSION In lower resolution: UPDATE: Animated! (up-update: smoothered) UPDATE: B&W
Well It doesn't look like a logo to me, but its cute none the less. (but my idea of logo has like a company name and such across it.)
I like it but it is no logo Maybe make a pixelated version of the same design (smaller of course) with chucklefish written somewhere? that would look cool I think
Well it's me again Updated the OP to it. Terrible font, I know, but it's a limit of my abilities Ooh, triple posting is not good, I am sorry Folks, please comment to prevent me of it!
Well thanks! Maybe if someone could help me with this font, it would really done. I can upload original (unpainted) pic in case. I can also imagine an opening logo animation: An ordinary fish swimming about its business. Suddenly, a finger appears from the bottom and tickles its belly. Fish bends its tail and chuckles, turning to this logo. Sadly, doing such thing for me is like jumping higher than I can
hah no its fine! Its a good suggestion. You've done a good job thinking about the name and designing a little logo for it. (As far as i know, i havent seen one either xD.) They may well ask you about using it. You never know :>
Thank you for your effort! I standed on 256x256 resolution because it seemed smooth enough to me. But yes, there must be low-res version(s). Maybe I could made it a bit sharper, like this: Maybe (just maybe!) I'll try to make animated logo (like Laughing man did; I thought what I'd do?)
Very nice! I believe I shall create a logo of mine! All thanks to you, ChuckleFish, I has inspiration!
As the creator of the logo for the company I work for, there's a few technicalities in that. A Logo is a graphic or symbol that represents a company name, title, etc... They can often include the name of the company, or title in itself. - As for the Chucklefish logo, I love it! I think they are brilliantly designed. Perhaps you can get the animated ones in a lot more frames, so it runs smoother.
While it's cute, I think it's face is a bit too cutesy for a logo. Especially since some of a fish's most notable features are sideways flat body, long (often triangular) head and no lips. Also, but this is my personal preference, I would recommend using larger areas of solid color. Perhaps thicker lines around the fish to make its shape easier to understand. Lastly, try the logo on a white background with black lines instead of gold and see how that works. !
