Chucklefish, What the hell have you done to my base?!

Really, the best thing to do right now would be to submit a bug report with as much info as you can provide. Maybe even include your corrupted world file if possible. Regardless of the "this is beta" stuff people are posting, if you have a problem PLEASE report it immediately.
the only thing I can recommend is to save (more) often, and try not to blow a gasket next time, because it might happen again. Good luck.

Beta is not stable, that's the answer.........

 

The appropriate post would have been along the lines of "Hey everyone, my game crashed and seems to have corrupted my save, is this a known bug and are there any work arounds?" Your fellow game testers would have taken your post a little more seriously.

 

Cant exactly report this with such a vague description. And for some reason i cant attach the file on the forums directly.

Well what answer do you want then? something obviously went wrong and your base is gone.
Stop being so goddarn hostile, the reason people say it's beta is because things like this happen, my guess is that your base is gone and you game failed to either save your game or your planet file got corrupted because it crashed or something.

 

Sounds to me like when the game crashed it just didn't save (which is why I wish there was a save and continue feature for longer playtimes). Now as to what caused the crash you'll need someone who understands the game logs for that.

I know that feeling too.
Just today due to system crash I lost my beloved Brolover (randomly generated xD) glitch right after obtaining Doom Lord's set. 50 hours. xD

 

happened to me once, my PC reseted due overheating and when I got back all my sectors got deleted. But I made the boss itens again and returned to my home world on gamma (which I luckly saved the cordinates in a paper) and everything was there.

 

Salvageable or not, you'll lose it eventually, sorry pal! At this stage of the game, I don't think it's a good idea to invest too much time in base/town/city building unless you don't care losing it all.
