Here's how you know they're really evil: That button doesn't trigger that acid bath. It triggers the door.

 

I made stuff like this in Terraria. Friend logs on the server for first time ever, notices nobody online (at 4am, I wonder why) and proceeds to wander directly into a poison dart trap, a large pit and then some lovely lava.

 

Not evil, no. FOR SCIENCE!

I'm just gonna go ahead and point out the monkey on the lever in the top left. I don't see anything else that that lever would control, do you?

If I were conducting awful tests of evil, I'd want them to be as silly and ironically inescapable as possible. The pressure plate does nothing. It's there for you to pause, and jump over. Gives the switch-monkey warning before dumping on your head, making you question what the hell you could have done wrong. 'wth, starbound has motion sensors?? HOW I GET INS'

 

Maybe those things aren't security cameras, but motion sensors?

 

The Chucklefish symbol has replaced the Starbound title soon they will invade us all!

Well it's still the Starbound logo when you're in Starbound sub-sections.
