Chocobos mod! Here my very first mod, a very simple one but, from my point of view funny haha. I just take horse sprite tile and replace it with a chocobo sprite tile. Installation steps: 1.-Replace the downloaded file in the rute provided below (I recommend doing a backup of the content folder just un case you would like to come back to the original horse sprite) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\StardewValley\ 2.- Have fun with your chocobo! What you need: If you want your chocobo you just have to build the stable(you need 100 hardwood, 5 iron bars and 10.000 gold). Once you have told the carpenter to build your stable you just have to wait 3 days in game, and it will be finish. The stable comes with a horse, or in this case a chocobo!. Maybe you could use these sprites instead? Final Fantasy Tactics A2 pochobos pochopos chocobos are way cuter for me. Here are some sprites I found: Thing is, you would have to make front/back/left/right sprites because in Final Fantasy Tactics you can only move diagonally :/
The problem with that sprite tile is that it is very detailed compared with all the objects in Stardew Valley, and it will not fit with the art style correctly, if I don't remember the sprite I use is a 32x32 pixels, and I think the tile your are talking about is, at least, 64x64. And also you have to change the way the game picks the correct sprite because right now it is picking 32x32 squares and if you use that sprite you may only obtain half of your chocobo.I hope I could explain that in a understandable way haha, as I have said I am very new in modding

You know, I am a music remixer/composer Perhaps i can provide a different version of the chocobo theme for you, This arrangement that i might work on is called "Stardew De Chocobo" or "Valley De Chococo" what do you think?
If you want to work on it go ahead haha, I'd love to have an accurate version of the chocobos song for the mod, which fits correctly. But right now the API is in alpha and is taking a while to get on an stable branch, and also I am trying to understand it but it is hard for a new guy on it haha. (We could say that this is for me this is a training project)
Wark =D Honestly, the player leg should be under the wing, but I doubt the game can do that yet, unless you mod the player sprite also. Props for the idea though ^_^
