My top part of my finger got crushed in a log-splitter accident. I was working with my dad, he was cutting down the trees, I was splitting the wood into fair sized pieces, when there was one piece that wouldn't stay put. In the end I had to hold it in place (Not my best decision). After the splitter started to split the wood, the piece jumped and wedged my finger between the wood and the metal backing. All I felt was pain when I released the lever controlling the wedge and stopping it. I pulled the wood off and released my finger... It wasn't a pretty sight.

I now am on painkillers and antibiotics while my finger heals... over the next 6 weeks. I've been told I'm going to lose my nail, it may never grow back, and that my bone has been split length ways. Ah well, I'll update when I get the time to.

Not my thing personally. If you make it, then, yay! Good for you. But I think cat races are overrated. Thats just me. Looking around I'm one of few naysayers. I like the culture and history though. Just not of the cats.

 

these are great but with all the cat-race ideas... it isn't very original anymore, but i still love this thread
