Race Children of the Monolith: The Liberi

Buddhism inspired me after their initial creation, but let me say inspired, as Buddhists would never use violence.

 

Are you planning on adding images of their structures/weapons? I'm interested in how you're going to implement them, that is, if you're going to base the structures/weapons off of Buddhism.

 

Images might be hard, as I am not an artist in that way myself, but the weapons, armor, and structures are most likely going to have deviations from Buddhist design because of their technology and the fact that, as I said, the initial concept for them being peaceful was inspired by Buddhism, they do have a lot of outer influences.

I like the idea of a cat race/species!

What? Why? Some of the other proposed races do have tails.
But that's the only minor flaw. It's not even a flaw exactly. It's just my opinion that a tail would be cool!
Everything else is great! I'd probably pick them over any of the other races already in the game.

 

I'm not a fan of your spritework, but the idea of a cat race is still very appealing to me!

It seems as if we both have ideas for peace-loving cat people, though my race's fashion sense draws more inspiration from hippie culture, and its backstory is more troubled, though would also explain why they're so peace-loving and nature-loving, yet also so competent when it comes to warfare.:catface2:

I would really like this race. ^-^ We need some non-human mammilian race action... THAT ISN'T MONKEYS. x.x The Ape X are a clever idea but monkeys creep me out. I mean their lore is cool, what with forwards mental evolution, backwards physical evolution... but hey!

 

Looks like kind of a techno-Buddhist, Nepalese type thing.
Also, bumping because this race is being ignored in favor of Nekos because they weren't given a "PURR, I'M A KAWAII NEKO-CHAN" naming convention and out of all the cat races suggestions, I like it best.
