Bug/Issue Child not going past third stage?

I'm having an issue with my child not going past the third stage and into the toddler stage. She'll play and roam around the house, and I have no problems interacting with her. I tried letting it go to the fourth of Fall (she was born on the third of Spring), and she's still in the third stage. I have also tried exiting the game and going back in, as I'm not sure what caused the glitch. The wiki says each stage takes 14 days, and I've had no problems with the other stages. Does this one take 28 days (I'm asking because in games like Harvest Moon, sometimes you'd have to wait different amounts of time for your child to age up). I'm just worried that little Emery will stay an almost-toddler forever. Thank you!
