Just to say this was a good plan showing the changes daily :) And to see different functions that are going to be implemented :)
Cant wait for the new ship update, need somewhere to store my seeds and golden bunny statues.

Personally, rather than flood the news page with 2 short articles daily (in addition to potential updates), I'd rather see a compilation of each team-member's work in a weekly post.

Hmm good point, i just thought it was a good change to implement a regular updates to show it taking shape.

It's certainly a step in the correct direction, to say the least.

    It warms my heart.
I shelf'd starbound for a bit after ~400 hours and checked the website for daily updates while continuing with my semester, usual things, and of course dark souls 2.
It was wonderful to see the update statuses on progress rolling in.
Definitely a step in the right direction to keep my faith up in Chucklefish.

I'm just glad to see that News is no longer a warzone. Maybe people will understand that the devs are actually working, and haven't just taken the money and flown to the Bahamas.

That, and people photoshopping characters into the new AI interface. So many references.

I'm happy about the updates as well, although I agree about the weekly instead of the daily.

    My opinion previous:
    "NOT ENOUGH UPDATES!"
    My opinion now:
    "THERE ARE TOO MANY UPDATES!"
    My opinion in the future:
"WHY DID I CARE SO MUCH!?"

I like daily updates. Nothing gets me more excited than new news posts.

I'd SOOO much rather see a plethora of dev/status updates to replace some of the self-entitled poorly-worded bitch-threads we've had over the last while. Hell, I love seeing the NEWS sub-forum fill up... so keep them coming, CF et all <3

Having more news posts could potentially make it harder to find specific posts in the future if this breakneck speed keeps up. Don't need to bury important news.

I know they are doing their jobs and I know their commitment so there is nothing to worry about.

I think 'Progress updates' was the tone of the conversation, not physical updates.

If memory serves me right, I actually remember people complaining about non-substantial daily updates, so the devs switched to weekly updates for awhile or something like that.

And that cycle has begun again.

  17. I was just as happy with Mollys bi-weekly updates as I am with the new daily updates. It just seems like no matter what they do someone will prefer something else, no bashing you or anything of the sort. It's just the way it works around here lol. I do like how more devs are posting about what they're up to though instead of it just being Molly.

In theory, daily updates are fantastic. I'm just thinking from an efficiency point of view. That, and I think there would be more to talk about if someone were given EVERY team members work for the entire week, and allowed to write a progress report off of that.

I'm not sure what post speed is the best (2 small posts a day might be too much). All I know is so far the office has proven much more efficient in basically all ways.

i hate people who keep wanting to slow down progress, just let the devs so what they freaken want
if you can post a message once a day then do it, dont hold back becouse of the idiots who dont want progress

and now he havnt had an update in 3 months, so i say forget those guys and keep this going the way it is now

Yes, when giveing the option of something and one the the options is daily, it is always the better option

one thing i would like to add on, they ALL moved to the UK to speed up progress, THEY MOVED FROM THERE HOME, they did this so that they could make faster content, if your gonna complain about it going too fast, then they should have just stayed in America, dont be a butt =/
