Check/Do Button Not Responding on Text Boxes?

Hey guys.

This very well may just be a computer issue, but I wanted to see if anyone had a similar issue, or just a suggestion for this.

I've played Stardew on my laptop since it was originally released and never had this happen. My walk buttons are WASD, Use Tool is 1 on the num pad, and Check/Do is 2 on the num pad. The button works fine with interacting with things, talking to people and opening doors, but I can't close text boxes or cycle through text. This has never happened before and nothing has changed with my computer settings or anything.

I'm not a total PC noob, but I can't really understand why it would work for opening text boxes but not closing them.

This is a bug introduced in a recent patch. The 'X' or action key won't close dialog boxes any more. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
