I'm trying to change the name of each character as the mod I'm working on is very simple. I'm using GamePlay+ as a base for my very simple mod therefore I'd just like to change the names of all squad members. I was successful in changing the names in different missions using the .json files that were corresponding the the mission level. However the problem here is that I cannot find the mission file for the very first mission when you wake up. I've tried most of the mission .json files but to no avail. Is it perhaps hardcoded? Hopefully you can point me in the right direction.
It should not be. Where in the first name could you not find the name to exchange? If you provide me with a screenshot I may can help.
