Closed Character lost

    Moved to Starbound Support. Starbound Discussion isn't used for tech support.

    When was the last time you used your character? Has your game updated since you used it?

    Hi, this must be really stressful, but can you try going to your player folder and see if it's there? (Right click on Starbound in Steam, click view downloadable content, go on the tab local files, browse local files, click on giraffe storage, then players)

    Yes it is there but my Player isn't in the game

    It doesn't had a Update when I played it yesterday

    No I played it for 1-3 hours closed it and play Another game but the the Laptop chrashed

    OK, well between this and its presence in your game files, it wasn't made incompatible by an update. The devs have been trying to avoid this, but these things happen.

    Also, please try not to double- or triple-post. You can edit posts to add more content or quote multiple people.

    Check your player files and see if there is something there

    To check go here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\giraffe_storage\player
