I was being stupid and I accidentally deleted my main character... Is there any possible way to recover him? I spent over 30 hours on him and I would REALLY appreciate it if someone helped.
You can check to see if there's any data on him left in giraffe_storage/player/ and universe/, but I don't know how complete a job character deletion does. Specifically, look for .bak* files with no corresponding file that doesn't have that suffix.
Thank you, although I have searched everywhere and found nothing. I've started a new character and it's still fun, so it's okay. His universe was still there, so I had to reset it, but I still keep a backup of it just in case I am able to find him again. I now know to ALWAYS make backups.
