Character Creator "Easter Egg?"

Hair styles for human 34 - 44 are EXACTLY like the first through 11th doctors from BBC America show Doctor Who. Is this some sort of easter egg?

 

Probably not. I thought you had come up with one of the character name easter eggs. Hair is hair, they may have modeled it from that of which you state, but that isn't an easter egg.

 

How isn't it an easter egg? Because it's hair? An easter egg is a hidden intentional joke, so why wouldn't this be one?

Nah, they said all 6 "easter eggs" are names that show armor like the last 3. But this is still pretty cool, it's kinda like how some of the glitch heads are references.

 

Oh, i didn't know about that.

How in the world did you notice this? I just went through them, and they're really exact. I'm been a Dr Who fan since it picked up again with Christopher Eccleston, and I've even went through and watched the old ones. Never in a million years would I have picked up on that when flipping through the hair styles. Good eye.

 

So that means the next Doctor will have a bowl cut?

 

Yeah, I was going to create a Character that looked like the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith, and I noticed that similar haircut. I flipped back, and saw one that looked like Tennant, and then Christopher, and kept going back and comparing those haircuts to the different doctors.

 

True, they could have just modeled it from Doctor Who, but it is sorta weird how they are in the exact order of all the doctors.

 

11 doctors so far... season 8... and 2013... so it will be released on November 8th, 2013!

 

The DEVs said in an AMA that Doctor Who was one of their prime inspirations for this game. So it wouldn't surprise me one bit. Also, there is a Glitch head which is a Cyberman head. So there's that.

 

That explains a lot.
