Yesterday i uploaded a mod and uploaded a temporary icon. Apparently this was a bad choice because now i cannot change it. Anyone know what can be done to fix this maybe? Any help at all would be appreciated!
Then you are clearly doing something wrong. I was in the same situation you were and I changed mine. Does your image meet the resolution requirements?
It said it should be 96x96 so i made it that. It works to remove icon but when i try to upload a new icon the old one pops up PS: the first icon i uploaded wasnt even the recommended size.
Do you think your browser is just loading a cached version of the image? For the record, this is what I'm seeing.
I tried uploading it on my chrome, i treid uploading it on my ipad, and yes that is the temporary image i put up
I think there is a problem with the forums software. People have been having trouble changing avatars and other things as well.
Yeah - not possible to change mod icon, forum avatar, etc. OSX 10.9.1: Chrome, Firefox, Safari Windows 8: Chrome, Firefox, IE All had caches cleared, just because I wanted to see - and I'm calling BS on a lot of the "Whatever. I JUST changed mine." posts I'm seeing pop up.
Would you mind changing your avatar to demonstrate that you can do it? I'd just like to see it in practice is all.
I asked Tvk, he tried to change it, even he failed. Whatever you guys say for now: I am gonna wait it out
Oh theres an idea for those people that want to change Avatars... Not that Im having any trouble with it
