You can just delete your char folder :S It's in beta, how is that hard to believe? And why exactly do you need to see your underwear? :L On a separate note, does anyone know whether coordinates will have changed? I've only looked at one set and the planet name had changed but I didn't land there so I'm not sure if the actual terrain has changed....
I play as a glitch and do not get damage from regular rain. However, acid rain (green rain) inflicts damage. As for an option on survival: Dig a hole. If you die in the process, continue to try until you dig a hole deep enough to put a layer of dirt over your head. Once you do that, you can either A. wait for the rain to stop and continue to explore. (Hiding from the rain when it starts) Then either collect enough coal to escape the planet or continue to hide from rain. B. Continue to mine from the original hole you dug and go spelunking or dig until you collect enough coal to escape the planet.

Hey peeps o/ That guy whiplashr is right! Key rebindind is an important feature that should be a priority, not only because it makes the life of some people easier, but also because, for a few people, some games are unplayable without it Anyone with a basic knowledge about game developing and/or programming knows that, unless you are coding over a terrible engine, or have your game's core written in a stone slate, rebinding keys isn't too hard of a task Please devs, consider implementing this soon, ok? HOWEVER I'm not only a gamer, I'm also a member of the community, and that's why I'd like to ask you, @Whiplashr, to refrain from posting aggressively like you did on the 1st page of this thread! I agree with most of what you said, but being right about something isn't a valid reason for being unpolite when discussing the subject Yes, the devs should have implemented this feature already, but you can't call then dismissive and arrogant for this! First because you may be wrong and they might have their reasons not to implement this feature at this point, second because, even if you are right, and they are in fact dismissive and arrogant, if you keep saying them that you are only being personal, which won't help solving the problem, is unnecessary and untolerated on these forums. The same works for those who disagree with your opinion. Don't just go calling everyone a fanboy, for some of them may even have relevant arguments, ok? TL;DR: Let's not close our eyes to what's wrong in the game, people! After all, the purpose of a beta game is to fix what's wrong, so denying that something is wrong won't help at all. On the other hand, let's keep the forums clear and polite!
I'm confused. Were the characters wiped or not? All my characters are still there. Do I need to make a new one to start the new patch? My launcher also says it is on furious koala. EDIT: I made a new character and I am still getting holiday spirit as well...
Universe is huge. It's very unlikely that you will ever see any player without inviting him to join you. Your argument is invalid.
You're not only completely missing the point, but you're seemingly actively trying to obfuscate it with patronizing questions that wouldn't lead anywhere. The point is they're prioritizing gameplay additions and gimmicks over very some basic functionality. (EDIT: And not just the functionality I'm bringing up, naturally.) If we're going to trot out the "beta" excuse over and over again, then allow me an analogy. This is like a grade school that puts playing old tapes of Pee Wee's Playhouse on a higher priority than teaching a child basic sums.
