Really can't wait to try this game. Been so excited to play it but I'm holding off til the patch comes out. Plus my new laptop comes in soon so that'll be fun
I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say, lol, the only differences I see are by way of spelling of the words, and to me whiny is on par with stupidity when it comes to the number of repeated posts that the answers can be found with a little effort, or even answered on a previous page. I know I'm to the point where it is somewhat irritating to see the same thing over and over in fifty different flavors of questions that no matter how many times answered someone inevitably asks again, lol. I have been much more picky except for recently in what and when I post, and couldn't help myself in joining when, on this particular changelog thread, the discussion turned to music, but find myself resigned that it's going to become another pointless "question fest". ...Sorry, lol, I've been thinking over and holding that particular peeve aside for a while, it's not directed at anyone specifically, I like information about the game as much as anyone, but am happy to while away the time in between updates with discussions and other interests with everyone on here. I will now just sit quietly in the background until something else comes along and catches my eye.
Aha, wouldn't it be a little bit off-kilter since I imagine that the devs use it between themselves as they're working on it while testing before releasing the updates to everyone publicly? I have no idea how steam updates work, even with that page you've brought up, thank you for sharing that though, I would have never thought to have checked for it.
Hmm... the only things I can think of are that you should check if the launcher is set to a compatibility mode and fiddle with that, possibly reboot, if something isn't working right, and as the very last resort, re-install starbound. The last one should at the very least work.
The point is that it's less that people are stupid so much as there are a lot of mediocre people. Because they are a) mediocre and b) numerous they do their mediocrity on a grand and impressive scale. So, mediocrity is not mediocre.
That makes no sense. Just because there's a LOT of mediocrity doesn't mean that it isn't mediocre. And this is such a pointless thing to even discuss haha. This profoundly deep and meaningful statement you're trying to make isn't very stable.
You don't understand. I'm not good at explaining a lot of things, so that's understandable. It is not meant to be taken as 'deep and meaningful'. It simply is. But I'm not going to debate it because it appears I can't get the message across clearly.
I think people should have a sort of contest to see who can make the most of the next potential 24 hours until the update on a single planet to build the biggest/most advanced possible structure with a new character. We've got to do something with our free time while we wait.

I wonder what's going on with the patch, I'm pretty sure they said "this weekend" and really not sure if they do it on a Sunday. I haven't been playing because I don't want to put anymore work into what I've done for it to get wiped. So I'm going stir crazy No rants here, just impatient, lol. On a serious note, I love this game!
I know it sounds nasty and pushy and I'm sorry, but Carmageddon Reincarnation comes out soon and I backed its Kickstart so I'll have that. I know their trying as hard as they can but if the patch keeps getting pushed back then theres a good chance I'll be on Carmageddon instead and leave Starbound forgotten for a while :-\, P.S I was 11 when I got Carmageddon 1 in 1997, lol.
