You cannot, the change log said there would be a ship wipe (deletion), even though most people saw it too late.

Wiring stuff is great, but now I wish everything electronic, like lights, is wire-able. Things like consoles, levers and scanners and those Button items should have an input so I can connect them to a Button and make auto-closing space doors that is triggered by a scanner! Also, more defense turrets please? More variety and upgrades if possible. This could tie in with a moddable defense turret just like the suggestions to add mods to guns. Also, can the Defense Turret refund platinum when demolished? At least refund a portion, 'cos more often than not I would experiment for the best position to place the turret and as a result, would have to build a lot of them. Like a lot of them. As indecisive as about a hundred turrets for 1 perfect placement.

Love the new hazards, meteror rain's neat, thou will have support the idea for being able to put up objects that creates a shield over a certain area, so you can put a couple to shield your base, naturally they have to be exposed to the air to work, and be thus a structural weakness to your base in general.
