Can we really land on astroid fields? I found one and tried beaming down to it and instantly died. There was no landing ground either.
I'm actually kind of glad to hear that, I prefer that we aren't able to just hold our breath to survive. That was a little immersion breaking.
Great update! But i got a strange issue last day, for some reason it gives me a crash when try to execute the game with the open_gl mode. Somehow i can play with the normal exe (Starbond.exe), still playing but with a lack of FPS, that why i use open_gl. to avoid lag spikes and other stuff. Does somebody else have this problem? Anyway, Happy Holidays!
you can disagree with a fact i think that's called having an opinion? which is perfectly fine according to human rights right? but that reopens the question of who is right about that right? i have opened a paradoxical wormhole of logic oh no idk i don't know what the context is
You can't disagree with a fact. If you have a different opinion on a fact then you are wrong. Like 2+2=4, I can't have an opinion that it equals 5. Also like this game being a beta- there will be wipes, there will be bug testing done by us- facts. On that note, I agree that we need better patch notes to actually contribute.
Uh, yeah you can? It's the same as how science has disproven the great majority of the existence of Jesus and yet people still believe he was the son of god and not a glorified scam artist. It's called an opinion because it doesn't mean anything.
Problem is, -some- people are slapping the "fact" sticker on things that are simply no facts. That's when the confusion starts and people start to disagree.
Im not sure what you mean by that, you can can have an opinion ABOUT a fact, but you cant necessarily disagree that the fact is not a fact.
Religion and Science dont mix. That is just your religious beliefs(Which I am atheist so I don't believe in him). So that is completely different. What I mean is something along the lines that humans need oxygen to breath and live, you cant disagree with that fact.
The Tech Chest, and some containers that spawn on the world with items has a bug, if you take it and place it again, the game will randomly place itens on the chest. Edit: All the Starmap upgrades aren't deleted when you use them.
I don't really feel like looking through.. woah, 23 pages of comments to double check if anyone else has said anything or if it caused fighting. Anyway. The Ms. Claus outfit bugs me, a lot. I really hated how it is just this skimpy version of the suit, I was expecting to see a little old lady outfit. Just throwing my two cents in.
i believe that was fixed in the last little patch. i do not require air, only the sacrificial blood of my worshipers.
Is it possible to make the Asteriod planets loop top-down and side-to-side instead of just the default side-to-side? It's silly dying to nothing. Also, my FPS gets cut in half to ~30 frames-ish whenever I'm on the Asteroids.
Just to highlight a feature that could vastly improve the inventory system: -Inventory Space Reserving. This would reserve a selected inventory space for a specific item. E.G. I could select "Gold Ore", use the command (e.g. CTRL + L-MB] on the space I want to reserve, and a faded image of the item will remain there till the command is used on that space again (without an item selected). Now even if I have no "Gold Ore", whenever some is acquired, it will automatically begin to stack on the reserved space(s) first. This is just for inventory organization.
But that was what I could do. There is the cold in effect and the same breath meter as when submerged in the water. I'm no scientist, but I believe it would be possible for a human to survive a brief exposion to space. Just speed up the breath deplete by about 10x and it will prob. be good.
