That's december 23 written in the non-united states way. I was confused for a second

 

Woo hoo jus as I was getting bored too. It was about time.

 

Yay going to be so much fun getting blowin to hell by meteors(I can just hear the complaints). Cannot wait to test out all these changes.

So Pos can be caught now as pets, but not the U.S.M.C. bunker roombas? Bit of a missed opportunity for collecting cute things.
Defense turrets and skyrails will be nice though.

 

Wait, will I have to do that? Won't all the new stuff just be there if I start a new character?

 

The biggest thing for me is the ability to warp home. It'll allow me to finally make myself an actual home base

Edit: Now that I think about it, I wonder when we'll see ship upgrades. Once that happens, the need for a home base to put your stuff is a lot less important, I think.

New build appeared on steam as hidden! This is likely the devs testing the update before it's released (probably very soon!).

For those of us who... hrmm... may or may not have acquired enough energy to blink or otherwise propel ourselves at speeds the planet generator cannot handle... will we eventually see an option to enable something (either as server manager or in single-player options) which would cause the planet to generate all of its chunks starting once we landed / once we started going to it, and then not ending the procedure until the game sort of knows what the planet looks like in its entirety? I for one wouldn't mind an option to trade a bit (or a lot) of temporary lag for a 'smoother' planet exploration. Understandably this wouldn't be able to work on something like the "infinite" planets that were once speculated about, but I'll take what I can get

 

Somehow I also bet that the gravity will bug on some planets and you'll be able to jump into space(Or potentially not even be able to jump at all if they have increased gravity as well).
