So i have thought that selling fish for a better price isn't bad but at this time, players tend to avoid fishing and instead focus on their farm to earn better income than fishing, and also it is difficult to fish out those uncommon and quite rare fishes around the valley, such as the Legend fish, which is located at the lake beside the wizard's tower in cindersnap forest, and then the lava eel i think? located at the underground river in the mines.

Here is what i think better for the fisher and angler profession:

    Fisher:
    IDEA #1
    Fish bites faster
    IDEA #2
Reduces difficulty on reeling a fish
    IDEA #3
A chance to catch 2 fish at once

    Angler:
    IDEA #1
No trash would be reeled in when fishing
    IDEA #2
Instantly Catches easily caught or weak fish
    IDEA #3
    Always catches Iridium quality fish

Thats all what i have thought of, these ideas are a combo of their respective pre-requisite.

Both IDEA #1 is a great combo, fish bites faster and no trash wouldn't be lured in when fishing
Both IDEA #2 on fisher and angler are good for fast paced fishing whenever you need any type of fish to craft something like quality fertilizer
Both IDEA #3 are similar to Forager profession, but i do like having IDEA #1 instead than IDEA #3

so which ideas you liked the most? comment below so that we could determine which idea is popular for everybody.

I'm all for a bonus that is something else than a flat: "Make % more money with this thing". Keeps the game interesting.

Iridium fish would be a pure nerf, all it would do is make you sell iridium fish (worth 2x) instead of buffed up gold star fish (1.5*1.5 or 2.25x)

does some fish only reaches gold star quality? or only some fish has iridium star quality? hmmm not sure but ill change the description.

hmm... it looks like you are right that it would be a pure nerf from the 50% worth the selling cost than getting an iridium quality fish, but remember that you can get 2 fishes at one bite, i mean its only a chance but if you get that triggered you will get more than the 50% worth selling cost from the original profession.

i think CA should consider making newer professions as well on a higher level farming ability, i mean you could reach all of your skills at level 10 by year 2 or 3, its really easy, he should consider having a farming level of 30 with new professions to choose from, or split up the 10 levels to atleast have 12 newer professions other than the old ones, and make leveling up a lot difficult (not until they get to choose the 2nd tier professions)

Idea #1 for the angler profession isn't that good of an idea I think, because some trash items can be put in the recycling machine.

you could actually get the trash from the crab pot, fishing isn't that popular to other players because it eats up time and sometimes trash always gets reeled in and that is frustrating, you spent around 10 ingame minutes just to reel in trash? that isn't what players want to happen.

trash is essential yes for the goodies you get like refined quartz from broken glasses when you recycle them, but you could actually just get them on your crab pots when you chosen a different profession other than mariner which removes the ability of crab pots to catch trash.

it depends on player style as well, its because you get more trash on your own farm's lake and the river when fishing even at higher levels of fishing skill.
