    Idea - Challenge Stasis Pods

The idea for this is randomly generated stasis pods will show up all over the universe. A few will appear on the surface, some broken, some not. Some will also appear at the end of dungeons. These pods are placed "permanently" and will ask you the question "Are you OKAY with destroying this?" because of their use.

    The Use - Challenges
Whenever you find these pods and are able to enter them (which will be explained in a minute) you will be given a challenge of some sorts. This challenge is often based on the requirement needed to enter them. After completing them you are often given some sort of reward.

    Requirements to Enter said Pods
Some Pods will have no requirements at all to enter them. Some Pods will be broken and will require repairing. Some Pods will remain locked until you have a certain item or Tech with you. The whole purpose of these requirements are for 2 reasons.
    1) This will make sure that the challenge IS completable by the player (because the challenge is based on the item or tech used to enter the pod).
    2) It gives people a reason to return to places where these pods are, giving them a feel to backtrack for a reward (more challenges and content, as well as a sense of mystery (if you don't know what these pods are to begin with, you're gonna want to open them, really badly).

    Challenges
As I said before, the challenges are based on the requirements to enter the stasis pods.
If you don't have any requirement to enter the said pod, you may be required to kill a boss, or some basic jumping puzzles, or something that doesn't require anything to accomplish.
If you are required to use a certain item or tech to enter the pod, such as grappling hooks or tech, your challenge is be based on that. Examples include: unique bosses designed around the tech, special obstacle courses based on the tech, time challenges, surviving as long as you can, etc.

    Additional Notes:
-Some pods may require more than 1 tech (If they ever allow us to use more than 1 in the future).
-Some pods may be found above ground, some may be found in dungeons (possibly the pod is a reward).
-Some pods may not require any tech at all (boss or challenge focusing on mechanics already in the game that doesn't require tech).
-Some pods may require the same tech but have different bosses or challenges.
-Some pods may give you very specific items to use (while restricting others (and returning all items at the end of the battle).
-Some pods may be the very same boss or challenge but of a higher difficulty (possibly determined based on color of said pod).
-Pod Bosses / Challenges should hopefully be related to the biome the pod was found in.
-Pod Bosses do not replace normal world bosses.
-Some Pods may possibly be broken and need repair before they can be used.
-It could be possible to rewire certain pods to have at home simulation bosses.
-Some Pods are linked to the internet and have high scores on them (fastest kill, etc).
-There are undefined rewards for completing these challenges.
-If its possible, these pods could be linked between all players of Starbound,
similar to Farcry 3's challenges, giving us a high-score and comparing it to others.
    -Pods come in multiple colors.

This suggestion is a reinforced version of a slightly older idea of mine (that sadly didn't get any attention, which will disappear into the void): http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?threads/tech-based-pods-bosses-and-challenges.45204/

So the pods would take you into a kind of 'dream' world where you have to complete a challenge or something.Sounds cool.
